What You Do Next Matters!

Jesus told his followers to give to everyone who asks (Luke 6:30), to give to those who can't repay (Luke 14:13 – 14) and to freely give what we have freely received (Matthew 10:8). Paul established the principle that what we reap is a reflection of what we sow (2 Corinthians 9:6).  Scripture has a lot to say about money, and Jesus was very vocal about giving, so we cannot simply ignore these words no matter how uncomfortable the topic might make us or our church feel.

Giving though comes in all sorts of different ways; helping others, volunteering, offering your time, and yes money. Each of these important resources are needed to grow His Kingdom and make the body of His church work as He intended it too.

Our church needs all of these elements to work together in harmony and that's where we would like you to consider what is right and proper in terms of both your time and financial support to ensure our collective ministry and fellowship grows as Jesus determines.

Time Matters

If you would like to be more involved in supporting our church by allocating your gifts, knowledge, expertise, time in any way, shape or form you would be most welcome. Each member of our church helps to strengthen our community bonds, connecting us together helps foster closer relationships, encourages mutual support and creates a deep sense of belonging. The church can only function in a healthy and spiritual way if we are all involved in some way.  If you would like to know more about the works of our church and how you can be involved, click on the link. Thank you.

Money Matters

Our church functions because of the generosity of its members. The day to day running costs are not provided by the government or any other institution or body, it is funded purely by those who worship at St Pauls. Their passion,  joy and prayerfulness gives rise to a desire to give 'freely what we have freely received' as it says in Matthew 10:8, and this in turn enables us to be an expression of His Kingdom in the place that God has called us to be.

We have a few ways that you can help financially, this can be a donation or a regular amount; by telephone, in person at the church office, but the easiest way is via an online service. We have two such facilities here that manage gifts for us and they also take care of any Gift Aid and Reporting that might come from your generosity. Every little helps. Thank you.

Parish Giving Scheme

We recommend the ‘Parish Giving Scheme’ (PGS) as the most effective way of ‘giving financially’ to the church.

You can choose to give regularly through PGS either online (set up a personal account), by phone (03330 221271) or by post, their website is www.parishgiving.org.uk (we are registered as Chippenham St Paul and our code number is 050605129), or directly using the link below.
